Quick summary of my gym sesh: Treadmill: 4.55km (about 2.8mi), 36:29 (inc walking warm-up/cool down) Leg press (40kg): 3x8 Chest press (15kg): 3x8 Dumbbell bicep curls (5kg): 3x8 Hip adductor (35kg): 3x8 50 crunches 30-second plank I LOVE SEEING THOSE KGs GO UP (and the ones on my scale go down)

I went for a run...
…it wasn’t fun. (Rhyme not intended). It was SO cold and foggy and miserable. I keep getting blisters on my arches. But still, 2.97mi to go on the tally. Stretches and crunches as a post-run “treat”. The real treat is going to be my coconut chicken curry for dinner. I am so excited for it! There will be pictures and maybe a recipe. HOT SHOWER TIME!!

Gym last night
Went to the gym last night, it was EMPTY. Not sure why I’m surprised, it was 7.30pm on a Friday night! Work Out

Last week: 153 This week: 151.4 (-1.6lbs) I’m really pleased with this loss.  I’ve been studying for exams so I’ve not been out and about moving as much as I usually am - just sat in front of books or a computer screen - but I made sure I got my runs in and I’ve been watching what I eat while still allowing myself a few treats here and there.

Ran (most of the way) there and back in drizzle - that counts as rain right?!  9 mins on the treadmill and a bit of free weights. Took it pretty easy as I haven’t done any in a while. Confession
I had such a rubbish evening (arguments, losing part of an assessment, feeling unwell etc) that I went to the supermarket and bought a family apple pie and a packet of chocolate digestives. I ate half the apple pie (could definitely have eaten more). I’m not normally one to comfort eat but this was exactly that. I feel bad about it and I hope it won’t affect my weigh-in tomorrow.
