Mmmm post-workout snack: water, banana milkshake (using a real banana), wholewheat pitta and houmous.
It was intervals day on the treadmill. Warmed up with 800m at speed setting 8 then 400m at 10, back to 7.5 for 400m, 400m at 10 and 800m at 7.5. One-and-three-quarter miles in 23 minutes and some seconds.
Then I did my Strength Workout B which was 1x10 reps of the following:
one leg squats
dumbbell lunges
russian deadlift using dumbbells
bicep curls
press-ups (on knees)
dumbbell bench press
Superman (!)
Medicine ball twists
It might be wishful thinking given that I’ve only done it twice but I think I can feel a difference already! SO TIRED now after 6 hours sleep and a day in the library.
