Run. Eat. Repeat.

I'm Sophie, a 22 year old Londoner currently studying in Manchester. I have just got back from a year living in France where my love for food has been joined by a new-found lust for running.

“Suck it up and someday you won’t have to suck it in”

This evening I ran 20 minutes on a treadmill (2.3mi) facing a brick wall. When I started I was all like “What the hell, this is boring. I’m just going to do 10 minutes”. Then I got to 10 minutes and was like “I’ll just go to 15 and see how I feel”. Then when I got to 15 I thought “fuck it, I’ve done this much, might as well do the 20 I’m supposed to do!”. Best. Decision. Ever.

I can now cross week 5 of C25K off the list and I have a real sense of accomplishment cos I did most of it at 8.5km/h pace (never went slower than 8km/h pace). I feel that I’m getting fitter.

Gym round-up:

Stretches.

Back in the gym tomorrow with the boyf. I hate running on the tdreadmill but it’s literally freezing outside and I like being cold even less.
