Gym last night
Went to the gym last night, it was EMPTY. Not sure why I’m surprised, it was 7.30pm on a Friday night! Here’s a summary of my work-out:
Cardio
Week 6 run 1: 4.5km, 35:12. 5 min walk warm up, run 5 mins, walk 3 mins, run 8 mins, walk 3 mins, run 5 mins, walk to cool down.
Felt amazing - I’m definitely getting fitter and can really feel how much easier it’s getting to run faster and longer.
Weights
Leg press: 3x10 (30kg)
Chest press: 3x10 (10kg)
Dumbbell curls: 2x10 (5kg each hand), 1x10 (2.5kg each hand)
Tri push downs: 3x10 (7.5kg)
Crunches: 4x12
Medicine ball twists: 3x12
Edit - and planks! I did 3 planks for like 15-20 seconds each.
